Measures reported by CogMobileTest
The Mobile Service is responsible for the delivery of content to mobile devices. This service is invoked by the Report Service to deliver IBM® Cognos® content to wireless devices, such as mobile phones or other wireless devices. If this service is unavailable, then, the content i.e., reports could not be delivered to the wireless devices. This will affect the users who rely on the wireless devices for accessing the content. If this issue persists, then, the user experience will nose dive thus impacting the businesses to a great extent. To avoid such issues, it is essential for the administrators to periodically monitor the Mobile Service. The CogMobileTest offered by eG Enterprise helps administrators in this regard.
This test monitors the Mobile Service and reports the current status of the service. This test also throws light on the number of mobile service requests that were successful/failed. This test helps administrators initiate troubleshooting to determine the reason for request failures and resolve the same at the earliest.
Outputs of the test: One set of results for the target IBM Cognos Business Intelligence suite being monitored.
