Measures reported by OraZFSFCStatTest The Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance is an enterprise NAS storage solution with an advanced architecture that includes a highly intelligent symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) storage OS that takes full advantage of modern multi-core CPUs, enabling you to run multiple workloads and advanced data services without reducing performance. Its unique Hybrid Storage Pool (HSP) architecture automatically caches data on dynamic random access memory (DRAM) or flash cache to provide optimal performance and exceptional efficiency, while ensuring that data remains safely stored on persistent storage such as HDDs or SSDs. Fibre Channel (FC) is a gigabit-speed networking technology used nearly exclusively as a transport for SCSI. FC is one of several block protocols supported by the device; to share LUNs via FC, the device must be equipped with one or more optional FC cards. This test monitors and reports the data transfer rate and the I/O transfer rate through Fiber channel between the Storage and LUN. Using this test, the administrator would be able to track the bandwidth usage between the storage and LUN. Outputs of the test: One set of results for the Oracle ZFS Storage system being monitored. The measures made by this test are as follows:
