List of Component Types

To access this page, click on the icon available in the Admin tab. Then, select the Backup option in the Integration Console tile.

• The Pre-defined Components column enables the administrator to associate/dissociate layers, performance test and configuration test for a pre-defined component type.

• The User defined components column enables the administrator to associate/dissociate layers, performance test and configuration tests for a pre-defined component type.

To Associate/Disassociate Performance Test, click on the icon.

To Associate/Disassociate Configuration Test, click on the icon.

Note:

You cannot modify/delete a pre-defined component type.

The Add New Component Type button enables the administrator to add a new component type to the eG Enterprise system. You can view the complete list of user-defined component types by clicking on the User defined servers link, which appears just above the pre-defined component list. To return to the pre-defined component-type list, simply click on the Pre-defined servers link that appears just above the user-defined component-type list.

Since eG Enterprise monitors over 80+ applications, a large number of pre-defined component types are bound to be listed in this page. If custom component types are also defined, then locating a component type in this page would become quiet a challenge. This page therefore allows you to quickly search for a component-type, by first specifying the whole/part of the component-type in the Search text box, and then clicking the right-arrow button next to the text box. All component-types that embed the specified string will then appear.
